Top Ten Things Folks On Voyager Would Do If They Got A Snow Day
Ruth -- 25 Nov 2000, 6:33 PM

10.Before they even reached the anomolous snow storm, Seven's astrometrics weather reports would have the crew rushing to their replicators for bread, milk, toilet paper, and, in Chakotay's case, an emergency supply of "Just for Men."
9.Paris would commandeer deck 7, opening the hatches long enough to let in enough snow to turn the deck in to a winter wonderland, and proclaim the First Annual Voyager Winter Games Fest.
8.The next thing Tom would do is organize an ice hockey game, but soon B'Elanna will convince him to stop it.
Actually, it's not so much that she convinces him. It's that her rather aggressive playing style sent so many members of the opposing team to sickbay to fix broken noses, collar bones, teeth, etc., that the Doc called Tom into work.
7.While Tuvok would refuse to join on the ice hockey game, Chakotay would later be surprised to find the Vulcan in a secluded area making snow angels.
6.Back at the Winter Games, Harry would win first place in the ice sculpture contest with his tribute to the mountains of earth, "Twin Peaks." He was later disqualified when it was discovered that all he'd done was fill one of Seven's bras with water and stuck it in the freezer for a couple hours.
5.The intensity! The charisma! The passion! Just a few of the superlatives applied to Neelix and Tuvok's sizzling ice dance to the tune of "Bolero."
4.In an effort to get warm, Chakotay's spirit guide slithered over to the bon fire, but he, um, got a little too close, if you know what I mean. Well, let me put it this way. The more culinarily adventurous among the crew were heard to mutter "hmm. Tastes like chicken."
3.Neelix's snow ice cream turns out to be a big hit with the crew! His hot jibalian chocolate with miniature leola-mellows is less popular.
2.Janeway would plan to spend the day reading Irish poetry, but would be rather perplexed to find that someone had replaced her volumes of Yeats with The Last of the Mohicans, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee, and How to Build a Bathtub in Seven Easy Steps.

and the number one way the Voyager crew would spend their snow day:

1.Well, let's just say you shouldn't be surprised if the size of the ship's population increases dramatically in nine months....
