10.THE MALTESE VULCAN.
When B'Elanna O'Shaughnessy walked into Sam Tuvok's office that day, he thought she was trouble.
With the death of his partner he knew it for sure. In order to avenge his partner's death, he is soon drawn into the search for the Maltese Vulcan, a priceless statue containing the stuff that dreams are made of ....
an endless supply of replicator rations so they no longer have to eat Neelix's food.
9.CHAK, LIES, AND VIDEOTAPE
Chakotay based this holonovel on actual videotape footage he took while he and Janeway were living on new earth. Thanks to skillful editing, Chakotay's "angry warrior" shows up much earlier during their stay there and plays a prominent role throughout their sojourn --- much to Kathryn's delight. Rated NC-17.
8.LIFE WITH FATHER
Tom's tender and often hilarious recreation of growing up in the Paris household. See Tom's emotionally distant father miss his school play. See Admiral Paris give away Tom's dog after it messes up his garden. And in the heartwarming conclusion, see Tom descend into drunkenness and despair after his father refuses to come to his court-martial hearing.
7.WITH SEVEN YOU GET EGG ROLL
When Mom Kathryn marries Dad Chakotay they are more than your average newlyweds! They have to meld together two families of squabbling kids none of whom are willing to be part of a new big happy family. The adoption of Seven brings the entire group together, as she uses her Borg technology to recreate authentic Chinese food, pleasing everyone from grumpy old Uncle Holodoc to spunky little Harry.
6.THE WORLD OF HARRIE WONG
Hong Kong party boy Harrie Wong meets artist Seven of Nine, who finds herself falling in love with Harrie, even though she cannot understand his culture or his lifestyle, or his refusal to take off his clothes when she asks.
5.WHITE PRIXIN
When musical comedy stars Bing Chakotay and Harry Kaye get involved with the shapely Delaney sisters, watch out! Lots o'singing, lots o'dancing, and lots o'warmth as the quartet put on a show to help bring customers into Neelix's mess hall. (Business fell off when he ran out of leola root)
4.PARIS OF ARABIA
Follow adventurer T.E. Paris as he travels the deserts of Saudi Arabia in search of his destiny, along with his close friend, Sherif Ali Kim. This holonovel has everything (except women), leading some to speculate exactly how close Paris and Kim became after the rescue from the Akiterian, er, the Turkish prison.
3.KESABLANCA
Everybody goes to Neelix's. Including ex-love Kes, who shows up with her Ocampan freedom fighter husband, desperately needing Voyager's last shuttle to take them to safety. In her tender goodbye scene, she tells Neelix that she'll always remember him and Voyager fondly, and, winking at Tom, notes that after all she'd also had Paris.
2.CITIZEN JANE
This is actually based on a Kyrian film (recently ranked number one of all time by the KFI). Catherine Foster Jane will let nothing stop her in her ruthless quest to get her ship home. Kyrians have wondered for years about the cryptic last word she uttered on her deathbed: "Bathtub."
1.THE POSTWOMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE
Sultry B'Elanna Turner has something that Bad Boy Tom Garfield wants --- a letter from home. But before she'll give it to him, she wants him to do one teensy little thing --- send Joe Carey to the dead letter office. Rated "S" for Sssssteamy!
