This holonovel has everything (except women), leading some to speculate exactly how close Paris and Kim became after the rescue from the Akiterian, er, the Turkish prison.
Everybody goes to Neelix's. Including ex-love Kes, who shows up with her Ocampan freedom fighter husband, desperately needing Voyager's last shuttle to take them to safety. In her tender goodbye scene, she tells Neelix that she'll always remember him and Voyager fondly, and, winking at Tom, notes that after all she'd also had Paris.
This is actually based on a Kyrian film (recently ranked number one of all time by the KFI). Catherine Foster Jane will let nothing stop her in her ruthless quest to get her ship home. Kyrians have wondered for years about the cryptic last word she uttered on her deathbed: "Bathtub."
